Spicy Crispy Beef Recipe

Ingredients:

– 1 pound of beef steak, thinly sliced
– 1 cup of cornstarch
– 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 teaspoon of black pepper
– Vegetable oil for frying

For the Sauce:

– 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
– 1 tablespoon of minced fresh ginger
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
– 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the sliced beef in the mixture until well coated.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the beef in small batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the beef until it turns crispy and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Transfer the cooked beef to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
3. In a separate saucepan, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Cook over medium heat until the mixture starts to boil.
4. Stir in the cornstarch-water mixture, and continue to cook until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy, about 2 minutes.
5. Add the crispy beef to the sauce and toss until each piece is coated evenly.
6. Serve the spicy crispy beef hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. This dish pairs perfectly with steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
